Gilwell Park is set in 108 acres on beautiful woodland north east of London, on the edge of Epping Forest. The Centre is easily accessible from the M25 but still gives the feeling of being in the great outdoors. Gilwell is the home of Scouting in the UK. It’s one of our biggest centres and we can offer over 40 on-site activities, 5 accommodation lodges and lots of space for camping.
Hawkhirst is situated in Northumberland in Kielder Forest on the edge of Kielder Water. The Centre covers 70 acres and boasts a wide range of water and land-based activities, including a climbing tower and high ropes course.

This year we’ve added a 3rd off site car park due to limited space in the car park at Chingford Plains. Follow the directions map to the off-site car park after dropping your group and equipment at Gilwell Park. Our Traffic Management Team will advise you which car park to go to.
