Wintercamp wouldn’t happen without a large number of volunteers. If you love being outdoors, you want to make a difference and be part of a team delivering an unforgettable Wintercamp experience to lots of young people, then come and give it a go.

We have two Wintercamps we need Volunteers for Scout Adventures Gilwell Park and Scout Adventures Hawkhirst.

What can I expect?

So you’re a do-er who can roll up their sleeves and help out, you may manage activity queues, direct coach parking or tidy up, you’ll be smiley, warm and friendly. That’s fabulous! And for that, your food and stay are on us. Your stay will either be indoors or in tents, first in gets first call.

Campers you’ll need to bring your own tent and bedding, indoors just bedding.

Bring enough changes of clothes as weather can be unpredictable, waterproofs are a good idea.

If you’re Staff registering you may also be asked to fill in a Disclsoure and Barring Service form (DBS). All online registrations will be confirmed by email and we will send additional information in early December prior to the event.

Can I come earlier?

You can join us in the week leading up to Wintercamp for a great rewarding residential project as part of your DofE or Queen’s Scout Award, email us at info@scoutadventures.org.uk
